RULES

Small Claims Trials, Rules for Possession, and all other summary matters are set on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10:00 AM. 
Regular docket trials are set on Mondays & Fridays. 
Judge Norman hears Small Claims for First City Court on Wednesdays.

PROCEDURES

Court begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.  Any pre-trial conferences will be heard at that time with the trial to follow.

All trial dates should be set through the Minute Clerk -- Status Conferences are not necessary.

Motions to Continue filed on the day of trial are rarely granted unless an emergency occurs.  Please confer with the opposing party and apprise the Court as to the their disposition on the motion.  Should there be opposition, the Court will advise the parties of the next step.  A contradictory hearing may be held at the Court's discretion.
